46:00 - I think there is a bug regarding new wolf carcasses disappearing after a very short time before they get a chance to rot. This happened to LMG in one of his playthroughs last month. Try saving and reloading and heading back to the spot and it should reappear.

You don't have to start a new series for the cougar. It said that they will give you the option to have it in your current save or not.

I would always use fire-hardened arrows at ptarmigans. With rocks they all fly away while if you shoot arrows at them, they mostly ignore the thread and stay.

With all this amount of food at this episode I dont understand why you dont eat a little more for have your life recovering when playing.. :/

Know it’s months ago at this point, I just started a playthrough after reinstalling it. Turns you can see those stinky meat indicators via the TAB key without going the character menu. Thought I’d share. Maybe you already know, but not up to those episodes that you may have already discovered it.

Before you leave the house, review your stored items and see if you need any of that now for the next thing you're going to do. When you use the notes in the past, I think it really helped you track where everything was stored. Enjoying the content.

When you are looking for your recycled cans you left them on the fire when you quartered the wolf.

You really need to make some fire-hardened arrows. They will allow you to kill multiple ptarmigans, as your shooting one won't scare away the others.
